NC Nanotech Conference includes pitch session for nano-entrepreneurs-TechJournal South

DURHAM, NC-The Center of Innovation for Nanobiotechnolgy (coin) will host a new offering ? to private pitch and strategy coaching session with a team of seasoned investors ? at the 2011 North Carolina nanotechnology commercialization(NCNCC Conference).


Interested participants can register for a 30-minute slot with experts to step up their business and technology, receiving feedback and guidance to tackle the tough questions. Slots are offered to participants registered NCNCC in the afternoon of March 29, from 14 to 17. 00.


This offer is part of NCNCC, a half day Conference that is organized by NC Commerce is in its third year and typically attracts around 300 + leading nanotech experts nanobiotech and from industry and academia to address key issues.


Nanomedicine entrepreneurs face significant challenges in building their business and develop inventions into marketable products or technology platform. This new dedicated "One on One with investors: Pitch strategy speech experts" offering will be a significant added value for the Conference, helping companies overcome stumbling block before approaching investors.


"No farmer wants to be stuck in the starting gate because potential customers simply do not understand or value to their products," said John Hardin, Executive Director of the N.C. Commerce Office of Science and Technology.


"The speech as these sessions will provide is critical to helping entrepreneurs understand what appeals to the market and how best to position their products to maximize sales.  I expect that many entrepreneurs will consider these sessions to be among the most valuable 30 minutes that pass over to take their product to market. "


CURRENCY is working with CN to increase Commerce nanomedicine track of NCNCC and this "one on one with investors: Pitch strategy speech with experts offering one of several new elements that will make its debut at Conference 2011 will be. In addition to pitch sessions will offer a workshop, coin of add-on on the morning of March 29, entitled "Actionable strategies for companies building and moving to the market."


Conference attendees can sign up for a slot of 30 minutes with their funding presentation detailing their company or new business and technological and receive feedback and help answer the tough questions. Panel participants include: Bill Warner by Paladin Associates, Nick Wachtel from Lux capital, Mike Elliot by Noro Moseley, Joe Velk capital Contender and Rob Tyler Shannon Poyner.
